About Carol Lynn

Hi, I’m Carol Lynn, a licensed certified massage therapist and the founder of Intuitive Massage. I grew up in Monterey, California, and I am proud to call it home.

I completed my initial 500 hours of massage training at the Monterey Institute of Touch in 2001. I finished my 1500 hours for my Certified Massage Practitioner degree from the Cypress Health Institute.

I have worked at many local full-service facilities including Serenity Salon, Spa on the Plaza, Pebble Beach, Carmel Beach Resort and the Monterey Chiropractic Group.

I have been lucky enough to be performing massage therapy at Refuge in Carmel Valley since 2019.

Over the course of my 20 year massage career, I have received advanced training and certifications in:

Swedish massage, useful for relaxation and stress reduction

Deep Tissue massage, effective for chronic muscle tension and pain

Sports massage, tailored for athletes to alleviate muscle stiffness, prevent injury, and improve performance

Medical massage, uses therapeutic, corrective, and rehabilitative techniques, addressing prescribed medical conditions and promoting recovery and well-being

La Stone hot & cold stone therapy, involves strategically using hot & cold stones as massage tools and placing them on the body to expand & contract muscles tissues

Polarity massage, combines various energy healing practices, from chakra connection to lymphatic release, resulting in improved physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being

Craniosacral therapy, uses gentle, non-invasive techniques to address the cranial bones, spine, and sacrum, restoring the central nervous system and improving sleep patterns

My specialty is relieving pain and releasing stress.

I created Intuitive Massage as a private practice with the goal of helping people achieve physical, emotional and mental wellness through therapeutic massage.

I’ve designed this private practice to be a calming space that enhances relaxation, healing and serenity.
