About Carol Lynn

Hello,

I’m Carol Lynn, a California licensed certified massage therapist and the founder of Intuitive Massage. I grew up in Monterey, California, and I am proud to call it home.

I completed my initial 250 hours of Certified Massage Practitioner training in 2001 at the Monterey Institute of Touch, Monterey California. I finished 500 hours of hands-on Certified Massage Therapist training  from the Cypress Health Institute in Santa Cruz California.

I have worked at many local full-service facilities including Serenity Salon, Spa on the Plaza, Pebble Beach, Carmel Beach Resort and Monterey Chiropractic Group.

I have been performing massage therapy at Refuge in Carmel Valley California since 2019.

Over the course of my 20-year career in the massage-spa business I have received advanced training and certifications in:

Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage, Sports massage, Medical massage, La Stone hot & cold stone therapy, Polarity massage, Craniosacral therapy, Pre-natal massage, and Aromatherapy.

My specialty is relieving pain and releasing stress.

I created Intuitive Massage with the goal of helping people achieve physical, emotional and mental wellness through therapeutic massage.

I have designed this private practice to be a calming space to enhance relaxation, healing and renewal.
